hi everyone....sorry for being a total noob here..

just need to know where can get the phone.
i stay at kl...i went to the gardens digi center at midvalley city and they told me they don't have the stock today and not sure when can get...despite the digi adds about releasing it on 13th Jan 2012 (today =.=")

i really want to get this samsung galaxy (google) nexus
i never bought or had a smartphone before, this will be my first..

aiks....so its better i do the pre-ordering online than wait to go to store?

i dunno...i'm just afraid to do pre-orders online cuz i've had horror stories about ppl who did that and end up with problems like:

1) the delivery took an extra month
2) the phone delivered was damaged which they had to return and wait another few weeks to get a proper new one
3) the phone delivered was a scammed (fake china copied made) from where they found out the post dude swapped it

i dunno how true these are but it worries me so i tot of going to get it directly from the authorized stores itself..
but when i read up from u guys, it seems like its ok o.o

does it really take just 3 days for them to deliver it?

gosh its a real learning experience...a bit stress here for a first time newbie doobie smartphone user!

i just copied some songs into the song file and play it and its works well...

now i copied a .mkv video file into the movies folder...but have no idea where to play it on the phone o.o

any help?

i got mine from alieamin too haha

the only things i do experience similarly with you is the camera area become hotter during wifi-ing too

as for the .wmv file i dl'd mx video player, works great

however again i also noticed that the back of the phone near the camera area does get pretty warm after a few minutes of playing the videos

hmnn...how do i turn the vibrate off for the typing/texting...

i went to settings 'sound' cuz i cud only find 'vibrate on touch' there...and turned it off...

but when i go to text/whatsapp ppl...when i type it still does a mini vibrate..
i wana turn that off to save power :S

i'm no expert but for a new user like me i think that given its a full 100% touch screen phone, power is kinda normal to run out fast gua....not sure lol

i read reviews of other full touch screen phones having power run out fast too...like almost a norm kinda review to me oledy

not being bias but its just what i've been observing

me so far no hang at all, only issue is just the heaty back near the camera bit everytime i play game/youtube/watch video or even sometimes just msn'ing =.=

but other than that, performance-wise....sexy

i've read some forums from i think USA ppl and they seem to have encountered that experience too and that it just gets hot but still functions as normal...and that it cools off just as fast too

i know i'm gonna get slapped for this but err....how to 'swipe' the app off?


i opened 2 apps to try....zombie fishing and angry birds...

i put the middle btn at the btm...brings me back to home screen...then hit the two games and its still running o.o
