QUOTE(AlphaBeta @ Jan 12 2012, 11:08 PM) Those who just got their phone, did you guys notice the Screen Banding issue? Like Horizontal lines across the screen when viewing dark grey colour. I believe that's a flaw on SAMOLED display. Got it on my SGS, slightly on S2 and I don't think there's a fix in the short period of time.I wonder how's Samsung's 55" OLED TV fares on flat grey colour. |

QUOTE(204 @ Jan 13 2012, 01:38 AM) i'm sure alot are like me... but i just wanna ask this.. and not starting any preference war.. but what is your argument of preferring nexus over the note.. Custom ICS ROM not based on stock ROM usually have something not working. In order to have a complete OS that works well with the phone, you gotta stick with stock ROM.i mean when you talk bout note getting ICS but not pure android (still have touch wiz).. but it can be flash to pure ICS theres already clips in youtube testing it out.. so compare the nexus with a flashed pure ICS note.. what else grab u by the nexus.. besides it being a nexus For GNex, the stock ROM would be what Google pushed to you, which is plain vanilla Android without coating. Added on January 14, 2012, 7:04 pm QUOTE(TitaniumZ @ Jan 13 2012, 08:48 AM) Anyone can confirm Celcom offers 32GB GNex? The last S2 bundle by U-mobile was not attractive as there was virtually no subsidy on the device itself. DiGi is 16GB. And anyone has info on whether U Mobile will offer GNex bundle? Added on January 14, 2012, 7:10 pm QUOTE(sordanny @ Jan 13 2012, 09:04 AM) 1) does Nexus have native 3G video call support? IE video call over Maxis network NOT skype/facetime Nexus phones has never had native 3G video calls support so far, not even GNex, despite the kernel would have support for it by now. This post has been edited by Harddisk: Jan 14 2012, 07:10 PM |

QUOTE(tcchuin @ Jan 16 2012, 02:08 AM) if you only get phone and data plan for 2 years, without making any calls, 1399+48*24 =2551 Or pay upfront RM2099 + 28*24 (u mobile) = 2771, and you are not tied to any plan/telco. Can change telco at any time.now without the promotion,it's 1999 + 38*24= 2911 difference is RM360. although you can save RM10 each month..but you'll have to may RM600 more for the phone.. |

QUOTE(DuDe5593 @ Jan 16 2012, 09:36 AM) Today, i went to digi service centre with a smile on my face. I don't understand all the fuss. It's just RM100 off the retail price, pay la that RM100 and don't get tied to any carrier. Now i came back with a loooooooooong face. The 1 year tenure is no longer available, now the phone is priced at RM 1999 for both RM48 and RM 68 smartplan. Advance payment RM 250. Makes it total RM 2249. I don't wish to sign 2 years tenure with them. So I walked out. Very sad.... |

QUOTE(DuDe5593 @ Jan 16 2012, 09:51 AM) After a year or more you Gnex might fail on you or get snatch by thieve etc etc. Really? I thought only Maxis does that.If you wanna purchase new phone from Digi you have to pay RM 400 to terminate your tenure. Last I heard on the S2 package, the termination fee would be the balance of the phone's value after the instalment, means it's pro-rated payment with discount, depending on # of months you have stick with the plan. So just do your maths. |
