Hi guys,

Just wondering do you guys aware that DIGI network is pretty slow. I did the speed test at multiple location in Penang, the max it can go is ~800-900kbps while for Maxis, it can go up to 2.4Mbps. Is this the DIGI network limitation? If so, I don't think I want to get the galaxy nexus with contract with DIGI. Can anyone comment on Celcom network speed?
*
I can get 6xx kbps at Mid Valley area with Maxis tongue.gif

Also for those getting the GN with Digi, is it the 16GB or 32GB version? Cos the Digi website shows it has LTE, and the LTE version has 32GB, while GSM is only 16 >.<

maxis to offer again samsung phone, seem like very very low possibility.
why you no use search, is confirm 16GB only. did you fully check about DiGi LTE news? they're beta testing now only. not gonna happen right now, the possible gonna happen only is this year end. I think DiGi should come out FAQ about LTE, many ppl ask in DiGi fb, is LTE phone offer? is Nexus LTE? , bla bla bla.....

BTW, GSM also having 32GB on the way..... not only LTE version have 32GB.
*
Yes I know it's on the way, but it's only rumours~ Besides, the LTE version comes with 32GB. Also note that in the GN banner (not LTE announcement), the specs is actually listed as LTE 700, ON the Digi website itself. So logically it would have come with 32GB. Digi making us all confused >.<

Is there anything with Maxis vs Samsung? Haven't really kept up with local telco info.

Now I'm just wondering which chipset the Digi version of the GN is... I don't want to kena con again like the Galaxy S2 when they provided the G version instead of the Exynos chipset version. Hardly any development going on for the G version.

I'm just gonna wait until someone posts a About Phone info screenshot of the chipset and any other relevant information.

I'm trying AOKP ROM but stuck in the Team Kang/Unicorn bootup logo. Did I managed to brick the GNex? How long does it take the first time we put a new ROM in? Should I retry again?

Galaxy Nexus supports no external memory card. 16GB is all you get.

What you need to do a nandroid backup is unlock bootloader, root, then backup.

Well, only recently the GSM rumours about 32GB version. So far every GSM version has been 16GB so it's not like we're unique ma >.<

Got it from Gdex already. What is the general guideline for first charge?

Some people said 8 hours but some people said newer battery shouldn't need to do that?
*
I would use it till it's drained, then do a full charge with no stops (just leave it for 2-4 hours) Then continue using it as usual smile.gif
