Nilkin is one of the average quality types - I have bought it before for my galaxy note but don't quite like it as its quality is so-so and quite thick. TYou can always buy it online from the lowyat site you have posted - you should get it within 2-3 days if seller has stock
Rearth USA is a complete different quality - it is I'd say the most expensive backcase I have seen to date - it cost me US$ 35 inclusive delivery ( US$ 26 + US$9 ). Based on users at XDA very good review on quality and is the thinnest back case so far for the G Nex , even slimmer than SGP ultrathin back cases. Expect it to be in my hands by next week too
*
Interested to get Rearth case as well because I am interested in slim case rather than full body protection case which will add significant bulk. Waiting review from you, Benny. Hopefully the quality justify the price tongue.gif

Standby has gained pretty good battery life on AOKP M2 with stock kernel. Will continue to monitor it and compare with Apex v5.

meant my clock on top right status bar, it's will stuck on certain hour and not moving..
but I have check lockscreen, widget and inside setting, the time reflect correctly.
this is weird, not sure what's the root cause. I just restart the phone, back to normal.
I guess it's very intermittent issue.
*
I encountered this issue before when I was on AOKP + Apex V5 and I suspect it caused by some applications. I tried to freeze few applications such as google+, NFS service, etc... Not sure it was related. After I reflash the ROM and didn't freeze any application, the issue has gone.

*
Well. Unless you confused me. blink.gif

Build number is showing IML74K

Kernel version is 3.0.8-g8e0f3bc android-build@apa28#1

I was asking kernel version not build number. smile.gif

kernel 3.0.14-g8e0f3bc dirtyFab@Apex#3

Thanks, Benny. Mine should be the AOKP default kernel then. Does it mean that all the custom ROM will come with default kernel? If I flash Android Revolution HD ROM it will come with its default kernel or follow the kernel from google AOSP? Just want to clarify.

My default rom kernel was : 3.0.8-gaaa2611android-build@apa28#1
It was unchange when I flash to ARHD 2.1.2

It changes when I flash to AOPK Milestone 1 ( Android 4.0.3 )

But I find using Apex V5 and even Franco build 12 improves battery life compared to stock kernel. So no point you keep stock kernel
*
Actually I am not sure the kernel now is default or not since it is different from what you have previously. I flashed Apex V5 kernel before then reflash AOKP without reflash the kernel. The final kernel is showing as below. I found the battery life with this kernel is very good. Use it together with AOKP. Will continue to monitor it before change back to Apex V5 kernel.

3.0.8-g8e0f3bc android-build@apa28#1

every time you flash a ROM you have to reflash the kernel you want, because when you flash a ROM, it will flash the kernel with the one that comes with the ROM.
*
Thanks for the explanation. I have more picture on how it works now. Next time I flash other ROM will check the kernel changes.

any1 installed juice defender in their gnex?? nice apps but now suspected make my phone hang  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

I used in my gnote without problem but that was 2.3.6. For gnex, since I used custom rom, no juice defender is needed. Try to uninstall your juice defender and monitor it.
