Hi Winson,

Naturally, I think that most people would tend to perceive “You want to pursue a PhD” when you posted a question, which tend to be psychologically caused someone to misconstrue or having a impression of “Where can I pursue a PhD in KL?”, without deliberately saying that “I want to pursue a PhD in KL. Can anyone suggest a good place?”. There are many possibilities but few such as, you maybe staying in KL, but want help your spouse, relative, friend, son or daughter, etc. to look for a university around KL where you can stay close with them. This little magic of mind control is called “Presupposition” in Psycholinguistics or “Misdirection” in the Magic Show. END-OF-STORY.

Well, regardless of who's pursuing the PhD, it maybe irrelevant to the answers that you are seeking in your original post. Generally, to facilitate other people to recommend to you usefully, perhaps you may want to share “Are there issues that urge you to specifically look for universities around KL only?” and “What research facilities would you like to have in a university when pursuing a PhD (doing a specific research) in Electronic, Communication, Electrical Engineering?

I can see that it gets annoying for you when there are many universities around KL that offer PhD programs in Electronic, Communication, Electrical Engineering. If you really want to pursue a PhD in Electronic, Communication, Electrical Engineering, what are the 3 most important criteria in selecting the most appropriate University?

Thanks for the useful analysis.
Just try to get some hints about which university have enough facility, equipment, fund and supervising staff in this field. There might be some places that offer PhD, but do not have enough/good facility, which i do not know.
