Hi Bros,

Im a newbie here..and i need your guys expert assistance.

Im driving an old skool kelisa 2004(current HU plays cassette)..im thinking of changing the HU and both front and back speakers..i read that STANDARD front speakers is 5' and back is 6.5'...

My budget is roughly about RM800..yeah,i know its pretty small..but with my budget im hoping to score something worth it..

I hope you guys can head me to the right direction..

im based in damansara btw,if you guys know any good audio shops, appreciate if you can share..

thanks alot in advance

Budget of RM800 is a little tough to work with for HU + speakers.

It would just be better to get a HU based on that budget, or, if not, just spend that budget on the HU and a pair of better front speakers(preferably of the 6.5" size, no problems installing it for a skilled installer), forget about the rear speakers, leave it as stock, or disconnect it.

Thanks for your info guys..i went to a shop in damansara uptown and he said the same thing..i think i would invest in a new HU first...gonna invest on a DEH-6350SD..then save up some money for speakers..

what do you guys think?

appreciate your feedbacks..thanks!

That's a pretty decent beginner HU. Pricing should be around RM500-600.

Save up some money for speakers, if you plan to get component sets, you'll need to budget around RM700 and above for a decent set inclusive of installation and all.

You might also want to add on some sound dampening material when you install your front speakers, at the least minimum, deadening the 1 square feet of panel where the speakers are installed on since you'll be removing the door panels anyway wink.gif

Yeah, I probably gonna get that HU and save up more on the speakers. My current HU is terrible and definitetly needs a replacement.

Thanks Grexer for your output.
