You plan to concentrate your UT investment in FSM in future? Or you will still stay invested in PM and EI as well?
*
All three but may favor FSM (due to low sales charges), PM (most of my fund in) and reliable, EI (planning to reduce poor performing)

I agree with you on FSM low charges. This is the reason am invested as well.

I also have PM funds till now. Way forward, I am investing less and less in PM. Furthermore, I foresee when doing rebalancing of portfolio, it will be painful as need to manage 2 platform.

Maybe you can consider transfer in you EI fund to FSM.
*
I heard that it is possible to do that (EI trsf to FSM). would it be troublesome in procedure wise and others factor never done such thing. any cost incur ?

Touch wood if something happened to the account holder, the money or account will become the beneficiary. Hence, beneficiary can decide to proceed investing or sell off to take out all money.

Don't hv to go through those legal process to claim the money, as it will take few years..
*
few years back, i heard from my friend if we doesn't pt any beneficiary name on it, when something happened the beneficiary automatically goes to our mother. not sure if it is true. anyone knows perhaps can share your knowledge here

Mixes fund leh. But the pfes contribute about 7k. Bought 2 months ago but i did top up twice to average down. But the rally only started 2 weeks ago i guess. Should have buy more but yeah who knows the market go south and i will be losing 7k right now.  sweat.gif

But still bro, asset allocation is the best.  thumbup.gif
*
No Worry bro ... UT investment for long term. you invested 7k you wouldn't lost all 7k. i had same experience with yours before and i keep it still in red but improving, as we also diversified our investment profit UT can cover loss UT. diversify and average down

Pink - <whispers>.. after i moved into FSM's RHB GS BRIC in Nov, till now.. 6%+ net profit. I think mainly due to the C in BRIC.
Guess how's me CIMC25 entries (yes, multiples liao) are going  brows.gif
By my own tracking, C is picking up steam like a "snowball getting into critical mass".
Note - your mileage may vary yar. Just sharing something i noticed from my own tracking / entries.  notworthy.gif
*
thats great so is C's economy recovering soon? when did you bought it?

Regarding FSM's Unit Trust Investment fair
http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=3032

Feedback from FSM
a. How to register:
Registration online (i was blind - thought the webpage above's registration link was for Penang only doh.gif):
For easy execution: http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/home/...d=Evt1301020001

b. On whether we need to PHYSICALLY be there to get the special 0.5% service charge on all funds:
Encourage the investors to go to the event and record themselves in the list.
If really cannot make it, FSM will see how we can assist for the online order on that date.

T&C will be attending our event and place order and make payment on the same day.
However, FSM will give some grace period for the investors to make a payment on case to case basis.
Details will be made known to investors on the event itself.

c. How to win RM10K portfolio...
Didnt ask hehe - if get, bonus lor.

PS - just received additional info from FSM (dang, Eugene's FAST in getting back with info... iFAST tongue.gif) :
1. For winning the portfolio, the format will be similar to last year where the investors need to visit all the booths and get the chops to have an entry.
At the end of the event we will have lucky draw and the winners must present themselves when we announce the winners around 6pm.

2. There will be no limit on purchase amount for the 0.5% discount on that day.
*
Wong Sifu, part (b) if i registered but not physically be there during the seminar, do i still entitle to 0.5% SC via online purchase ?

Well, I read from an article in FSM.

Two regions in focus:

1. China or Greater China **even though I'm not quite convinced and I still have phobia from PCSF**
2. ASEAN
*
I lost alot in PCSF too. But China / Greater China Fund are in uptrend but not for PCSF hopefully this year will see a steady recovery for this fund.
I carry several ASEAN / Indonesia fund all performing better than my China Fund
