So anybody did any topup or bought any fund?

Events of past few days dragged IRR of my portfolio from 6.15% to 5.80% tongue.gif

Hwang Select Opportunity Fund is on discount now on FSM...golden opportunity to buy thumbup.gif
If may be a Malaysia focus fund, but it can diversify up to 30% in foreign equities, and HwangIM is not one who will shy away from fully utilising that freedom. nod.gif

This week top up Hwang select Asia opportunity fund... Gaining more exposure on Asia ex Japan

Anybody invest in Cimb principle Apac dynamic income fund? Today last day for 1% promotion. Not sure if need this or not since I got Hwang AQ and select Asia already. What r u guys think?
*
QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 28 2013, 09:06 AM)
CIMB Principal Asia Pacific Dynamic Income fund is a good fund in my personal opinion. It employ similar strategy as Kenanga Growth Fund.

The benchmark it used is 8% p.a.
*
Hwang SAOF and CIMB APDIF employs different strategies...

Hwang's as its name implies, rides on "opportunities", i.e. balancing act between growth stocks, dividend stocks and small caps. Whereas CIMB's as its name implies, does "income investing" i.e. focuses more on dividends.

Kaka, if u already got Hwang AQF, CIMB APDIF would fit your portfolio better. Just my 1 sen worth of opinion. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi, I'm a newbie here and just got my FSM account activated and bought some funds. May I know for OSK-UOB EMB, the dividend declared will be reinvested into our account? I bought the EMB from UOB last time before knowing about FSM.
*
With FSM, ALL dividends are reinvested.

Saying that a rally is coming to an end because indices are topping is just like a Roulette gambler saying that a streak of 5 Red wins is going to end because the previous streak happens to ended at 5. icon_idea.gif

Build a team, not assemble a bunch of star players who can't complement each other

Build a portfolio. I've repeated this a few times already, the regulars of this thread must be bored by now...why not u spend some time digging my old posts? tongue.gif

QUOTE(GulengBeng @ Feb 28 2013, 09:29 PM)
Thanks a bunch Pinky for the excel file..quick question..how do you calculate your asset allocation according to region/country? Do you take the percentage of each country from each funds from the fund fact sheet and add it all together?
*
Yea, that's how I do it smile.gif
