OSK-UOB Emerging Market Bond. The OSK guy recommended another fund, OSK-UOB KidSave Trust which is a balanced fund.

How many funds out there will ever reach their approved limit? So far I've only heard about it happening to PM. hmm.gif

Maby PM purposely applied for smaller limit, so it'll be met easily? Then they announce to whole world "hey look, our fund fully taken up!" brows.gif

PM got lotsa distribution channels (lotsa Public Bank branches around) and their agency force is large. Big may not be necessarily good, small may not be necessarily bad. nod.gif

Like Pheim and Pacific are small, but they've got strong funds too. icon_idea.gif

What account to open is better? Personal or with beneficiary?

QUOTE(howszat @ Jun 30 2012, 09:50 PM)
From FSM website:The main account holder operates everything on behalf of the beneficiary, eg like a parent on behalf of the child (beneficiary). The beneficiary "do not have rights over this account".

hedging against FSM's funds (bonds, money market & equities)?
er.. the logic being?

I thought gold was traditionally (rightly or wrongly) for hedging against USD & inflation. What has gold as a hedge against FSM's funds?
Or
U are just posting for the sake of posting? My apologies if i'm mistaken here notworthy.gif

CMF is a unit trust fund, interest is calculated daily and reflected in the daily NAV valuation of the fund.

CMF places all its monies in FDs, but investors in CMF can withdraw anytime without losing any interest.

Please go FSM to read more on CMF nod.gif
