But from the fund datasheet, it has more than 50% in others under Country Allocation.

Brazil took only 13.8%
*
"Others" mean a lot of other countries

Brazillian one of the biggest, Russian bonds too

Yea, discuss FSM-specific issues here seem more fitting hmm.gif

but, as FSM clients, we do want FSM to have more clients, right? So, better keep this thread hot to raise awareness on FSM rclxms.gif

their sale charge is very high and part of it goes to agents' pocket.

Ah.. 6-7% still manageable to loss. If like 15 - 30% than shxt.
*
usually a main holding would not be >10% of the overall portfolio...even if total write off won't be >10%

furthermore, bondholder is one of the 1st to be entitiled to the company's residual assets in the case of insolvency. Should be able to recover at least half of the bond nominal value nod.gif

Ah... you make me more relief... thanks ya!
*
in a bankrap case...1st to lay claim to a company's residual assets would be its creditors, then bondholders (or bondholders 1st? I can't remember exactly...sudah kasi balik the knowledge to my lecturer tongue.gif ), last last last sekali baru sampai the shareholders icon_idea.gif

QUOTE(denon91 @ Jul 11 2012, 10:46 PM)
Sifus. wanna ask one thing. If i buy a funds, 1 year later i want to sell all the unit, Is that possible to sell all the units?I heard my friend said there is a minimum units you need to left in the fund?? icon_question.gif
*
differs from fund to fund

E.g.

ABC Fund
Min. initial investment: RM1000
Min. subsequent investment: RM100
Min. unit holding: (can be in unit can be in RM, depends on the fund manager) RM500

So in this case, u can sell up to RM500 and leave RM500 invested. In future when u wanna top up u can just top up min. RM100

BUT if u wanna sell >RM500, u would have to sell ALL. Later when u wanna buy back, u gotta buy RM1000 first.

Faham? icon_rolleyes.gif

O, it meant that if you want to sell more than the min. unit holding, you must sell ALL. And if you want to buy the fund again, You need to start from zero again(meant you should follow the min. initial placement).

Its more of a technical-oriented fund whereas Global Leaders focus more on fundamentals n competitive advantage...diff approach. Gonna assess further...
