I did requested a public ip for the sake of playing ps3 online from Maxis call center sometime ago.
BTW, is it now we can logon using M'sia apple id on atv3?
Is the content same?

Is the content same? yes.. u can select the location in the setting for malaysia and use ur local id. however, for the content, movies should be the same... only subscription based netflix, nba, etc. will not be available in malaysia yet. not too sure as havent got time to try... |

No idea if itunes supports mkv, probably you need a plugin.. |
