If anyone is looking for free DNS for Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, Android or consoles, you may want to try DNS-Trick http://dns-trick.com/ . It is free and I have tried it out personally on Apple TV and iPad and I can access to Netlfix and Crackle without issue. Most importantly this DNS code is not being hacked by ViperDNS. Who has been using free netflixdnscode would have known that most of the DNS there have been hacked. Hope this is useful

I'm using smartDNS Proxy. Support all US region channels in AppleTV3. Support Netflix SuperHD if you have fiber internet. It also comes with a free VPN account. Super easy to set up.
Just try the free 14days trial, after that you have the option to subscribe from as low as USD2 a month.

All devices can use.
Roku more leceh because can't set DNS on device itself. Must set DNS on the router. Whereas AppleTV is very easy, can set the DNS on device.

thanks for insights,
I do have TIME fiber connection, more than happy compared to my previous experience with UNIFI thanks to
bloggers here.

one more question,

isit better if I go with just a Samsung FULL HD TV or SMART TV (Samsung) ?
does the quad processor enables many more upcomings, or since i have Apple TV 3 , it doesnt matter?

I would rather use the savings from buying a non smart tv for few streaming devices such as Atv, Roku, Fire TV, android TV to make the dumb TV smarter than the smart tv.

Open up your AirPort Utility.
1) 'Edit' your AirPort Extreme.
2) Go 'Wireless' tab.
3) Select 'Wireless Option...' at the bottom.
4) Check the box on the left of '5GHz network name'.
5) Key in a network SSID for your 5GHz bandwidth.
6) Leave the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz channel as 'Automatic'.
7) Hit Save, and the window will close.
8) Hit 'Update'.
You may quit AirPort Utiity.

Now, connect your ATV to this 5GHz network.
Try AirPlay again and see if it solve your lag AirPlay issue biggrin.gif

The only way is to make sure your network is not congested.
Congested i mean here is there's no heavy internet user or multiple users sharing the same network at the same time.
It really depend how well the router manage to deal with the traffics. DIR-615 isn't doing well fyi.

1) you adjust settings directly from the ATV using the remote control.
2) Quite a lot. Just do a search in YouTube to view the full list of channels.
