anyone know when we can get jailbreak for ATV 3?

No updates on jailbreak for atv3 yet.. That's y atv2 price remained higher than atv3

So ATV sold here is malaysia is still ATV2? And I need to jailbreak it or can I just use VPN etc?

Now global market selling atv3.. Atv2 u can only get used set.. But not gong to come cheap... Cos atv2 can jb while atv3 can't

any good movie app to recommend? currently using VLC to mirror, my iPad screen cannot go off, once i turn it off, the video mirror to my LCD will only have audio no more video.

*i play mp4 movie file using WD MyCloud, it can turn off screen with the video still mirror to my LCD.

Is there a difference iTunes Malaysia vs US - for movies? Like is it 'ditapis' if purchased on iTunes MY? I know music it is edited (bleeped out) even if special/full edition. Thanks.

Never bought any from iTunes.. Too exp for a poor guy like me.. For movies, I watch netflix..

Rental is cheap. $0.99 weekly special, usually $2.99-5.99.

Purchasing overall is cheaper than buying DVD, especially for older movies that I want to re-watch. There are weekly specials of $9.99 based on actor (this week is Liam Neeson, all in HD) or specials ("Hijacking & Hostage Movies" HD, this week). Malaysia iTunes may have less specials like there's only a $2.99 special price weekly movie.

So far the difference I've seen with Malaysia one does not have English subtitles but has all other languages.

Love the convenience though.

Oh I definitely subbed to Netflix and Hulu - though after the annual cycle am going to stop Hulu. Netflix movies that I seem to want to watch are all their DVD only service (US only).

So far no 'tapis' on iTunes MY .. but certain titles that can be objectionable may not be listed. Smaller library. Like the movie "End of Days" is on iTunes US but not on MY.

I took only netflix.. Hulu plus seems offering similar contents.. In fact, now watching house on netflix..
