Just flash the .zip in your CWM recovery. Or use Odin to flash the .tar

NOPE since you didnt flash a anything before, you wont have clockworkmod installed, so you have to use the .TAR version instead of the .ZIP version. .ZIP will be used by CWM. So to use .TAR, you will need ODIN to flash

I got CWM installed since I did CF-root. Its the same thing right?

oh yea, now i remember u like to press the 3 buttons till your cover broke. lol. download the .zip version of siyah, copy it somewhere in ur internal memory, enter recovery mode, choose install .zip from sdcard, then choose from internal sdcard, then choose the siyah.zip file. oh yea as a precaution i advise you to clear cache, then go advance, clear dalvik cache first before you flash

Just bringing up the Camera FC issue again. Any G-version 2.3.5 user that upgraded your phone to 2.3.6 here? Did it show significant decrements in its occurrence?

and do you think I can ask for warranty for this phone? I think that this FC problem affects people pretty randomly. Wonder if I can get it replaced if it can't be fixed.

And for some reason my dealer (3rd party) had not activated my e-warranty. Is it possible for me to go straight to samsung and ask for warranty if it's not activated? =]

Most of us flashed so many times. I would say 99.99999% pass through. maybe just a small part where you will stuck at bootloop ni.

Other than that, nothing to worry!

Actually you want a faster way to flash is extract the zimage from the zip/tar file. Then put the zimage at root of sdcard. Then use cwm app, select flash kernel, select the zimage. Done.

I always use this method. No need boot to recovery.
