speaking of siyah, 2.6.6 is out.
Changelog:

* fixed the problem which is causing device turn on by itself when it is connected to a charger. (it was related with lulzactive changes in v2.6.5)
* some more lulzactive changes
* smoother “mr bones” playback in youtube
* removed brazilianwax, interactivex, savagedzen and intellidemand governors.
* fixed a nasty bug in interactive governor.
* default governor is set to lulzactive
* default i/o scheduler is SIO
* XZ compression (this is not a feature but an explanation for smaller kernel size. I am sorry that I had to give up LZO because it gives me >8MB kernel image which exceeds the available kernel partition size)
* (Possible)Tegrak overclock app support. although you may customize all the features with scripts, some existing tegrak overclock app customers may prefer to use it.


first you mount, then you flash that time, got 4, 1) choose update from sdcard 2) signature 3) verification smtg 4) internal sd card. u click the signature and verification 2 times (enable then disable i think) then you select ur zip file and flash

NOPE since you didnt flash a anything before, you wont have clockworkmod installed, so you have to use the .TAR version instead of the .ZIP version. .ZIP will be used by CWM. So to use .TAR, you will need ODIN to flash

oh yea, now i remember u like to press the 3 buttons till your cover broke. lol. download the .zip version of siyah, copy it somewhere in ur internal memory, enter recovery mode, choose install .zip from sdcard, then choose from internal sdcard, then choose the siyah.zip file. oh yea as a precaution i advise you to clear cache, then go advance, clear dalvik cache first before you flash

in my experience of flashing for 6 months, nope wont brick, soft brick got la, if u use CWM to flash soft brick and brick wont happen.

no harm to clear again but i usually dont

actually battery life shouldnt be a problem as the processor will increase the clockspeed slowly to meet demand, unless ur playing intensive games, then the battery should be okay. i'm more worried about the processor tho so back to 1.2 or 1.4~

shizuru congrats on getting siyah, since ur using it, download the voltage control app so you can tweak tweak, also the lulzactive app from market. Also get the tegrak touch tune app and you can buy the voodoo louder app from market if u wanna improve ur headset's volume to be louder
