-wheres d ori sticker that stating date of make, color type, size..etc etc.dont just see "made in japan" onli.as fake one oso hav.
-never seen ori rim comes with wheelcap ... as ori cap are optional.
-else cannot see ... cant zoom-in
*
1st point is true.. not all "made in japan" is original.. coz most of those fake states "design in/by japan".. but the best fake rims with "made in japan" sign is only Advan RG..
other than that they just plain imitations..
2nd point.. not true at all.. as those are package.. mean with caps the rims can be in higher price or become "rare" since its a full package coz u know when they transfer things endup hilang 1 bit.. and since its used maybe the rim used in track so there the cap lost.. i've bought 3 japan rims so far.. and most of them with caps.. caps or no caps its still doesn't says its not original..
3rd.. i don't understand.. but for me to check.. i'll browse up tons of websites, to the roots of it.. to know who make it, weight, original colour, what holes doest it come with..
where doest it usually used, what size does it come out with, 5jj/6jj/7jj/7.5jj/8jj/8.5jj...etc.... to clarify its a japan or imitation or good or not good or light or heavy or anything.. else i wont suggest or convince people to buy~

QUOTE(Vervain @ Jan 30 2012, 09:13 PM)
don't need to gaduh² . As long as its good looking, feather light and strong, its a good rim. Leave brandings aside.

Yesterday kena tinggal from one white daihatsu charade and one blue altis with neon light on the bumper..  vmad.gif
*
nah.. no gaduh2.. i'm here to share oso.. coz this thread never talks about rim that much and always asking here & there about light weight rim and stuffs.. so i might as well pour some poison oso~ but my poison won't be as good as steven~ sweat.gif

nahh.. its all over the waja thread previously.. can find sure..

QUOTE(Devilside @ Jan 30 2012, 11:54 PM)
ahhh good input.but still those rims look fake bro.i dunno why.nvm that.where u shop for those 3 rims ? mind sharing ?
*
another easy way to detect its fake or not.. try google the product.. "avs model 6" add imitation or fake.. i tell u.. u wont find it.. u have to know the original 1st to know the fake.. btw.. 2 in malaysia.. the latest 1 i bought directly from japan through easybid~

Apparently it causes it to judder and squeel even more. At least that's what I read. Didn't try it myself. Rain-x only used on rear and side windscreens though laugh.gif
*
i've read somewhere before can't remember.. most of rain-x user just applied it lightly as that make it finish uneven.. coz rain-x u have to really put a tough work on it.. u need to apply it like u apply wax on ur car.. if ur not sweating yet.. meaning the rain-x is not properly applied yet.. coz after proper application even the normal wiper would not have any problems with it..

Changed to coilovers today, on the way home my clutch pump failed doh.gif

Managed to stop by the roadside then start the engine in gear 1 and drive back home lol. Luckily was in my housing area already but had to go through 2 gigantic bumps which my chasis hit real bad
*
so titans?

http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/coilovers-series-v1/

Got this for special price RM1.9k without the pillowball and apparently they OEM to GReddy. My friend also said the design is pretty similar to a set of GReddy coilovers.

Only managed to test from BF to my home then my clutch pump died plus haven't sent for alignment, height and damper adjustments yet.

So far not too bad, more comfortable than Elton's titans. Will give more review when i drive it more. Currently set the height to 2 fingers between the fender and the wheel. Need to get used to the new height when i go over bumps sweat.gif
mine gets 9.5~10.5 sad.gif

Added on February 10, 2012, 3:22 amBtw, thinking of getting a set of spacers for my wheels. Thinking whether will it compromise strength/safety of the wheel? hmm.gif
*
hmm.. got good reviews also on those BC.. so more review.. btw why u need spacer? wanna go hellaflush?

Nice wad hellaflush tongue.gif just scared those spacers aren't reliable lol. Btw about the height adjustment, the rear should be slightly lower than the front right?
*
hellaflush is my long-time aim.. but doing it slow and steady lols..

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Feb 10 2012, 10:46 PM)
and you blame proton? sweat.gif

btw, just adjusted my shocks. Default factory setting set to 8/30 where 0 is hardest. Now i adjust to 15/30 its pretty much as soft or softer than my friend's myvi SE stock absorber laugh.gif

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Feb 11 2012, 05:00 AM)
RM1.9k for the abs, RM80 for installation at BF thumbup.gif

Sending my car to BF for clutch pump service, car barely made it onto the towtruck

just like mao2 rite? i rmb someone but forgot who said that the stock manifold is better to overcome heat issue
*
yup i'm the culprit.. hahaha.. bought mine for 250.. inside box oredi got clamp.. my filter cone is 3".. oso i avoid using metal ram pipe as it'll get heated up since its expose to the engine heat.. if can get bigger samco hose is much better¬

as in last time when i was still using halogen it didn't blink together with the signals like he mentioned sweat.gif

btw guys, just now went up genting with my friends, on the way down before the 2nd guardhouse was playing with a Satria Neo, after the guardhouse, stop awhile wait for my friends and the discs were glowing red. Cool down abit and continued our journey down, and my friend behind me said he keep seeing sparks coming out from my front left rim rclxub.gif

my friend's theory is that my brake pads are worn out as i changed it like 6 months ago, but then my friend who saw the sparks said that the sparks happened even when i wasn't pressing the brakes. My disc is very very slightly warped, could it be that eventhough i'm not pressing the brakes, the warped part of the disc touched the pads and caused it to spark? Other than that can't think of any other possibilities. icon_question.gif
*
time to change disc oredi.. can ask elton.. we both learnt that once the metal is glowing red.. its dead oredi as it will crack as it become brittle .. there go your money again.. hahaha~

QUOTE(Vervain @ Mar 17 2012, 04:01 AM)
TBH, I would care less on ATF as long as there's a cooler for it. The most important is Oil cooler.
any fast you will go back to the future. The next marty.
