Bro, why not going audition?
It's your money, so you should deserve the best.

KEF I like.. ordered Q700+Q600C, on the way. Heard before very good sound stage. Tips from forumer that this speaker must do biwire/biamp and use copper wire.

Dali from Denmark top two after Dynaudio, more expensive than KEF

Both are good speakers, depend on your taste.

Q900 is the best with 2" tweeter, so the clarity and sound stage are very wide but you need bigger amp to drive it. At least you amp can output 200w. For Q700 if you can get 4.5k is reasonable. Some places quote up to 5.6k but depend on location. The tweeter for KEF Q series are from high end KEF flagship blade model. Only comment I heard from other regarding Q700 is their bass muddy.. but most people heard not like that. It depend on setting and connection that make different. I believe it is seal cabinet so the bass must be clean and tight

BTW how much you their offer you Ikon 6. I got offer for lektor series floorstander 6.9k which I think expensive.

got my RX6 @ 4.5k which is not cheap! the HF/midrange/LF is just RIGHT for RX6. some say the HF is a bit high but it's tameable with the right cables. also these speakers are quiet.... smile.gif

I find my KEF Q500 needed at least 100 hours running in before they settled down in the high frequencies, now they are sommoth and detailed with excellent imaging - out of the box they were a little bright and harsh as reported by others.
