oh i also DIY myself, wax almost every 2-3 weeks once with my meg products. so its been habit of mine for past 10 yrs. each wash n wax will take up to 2hrs+,if got tar spots sometimes almost 3 hrs

somehow common as some owners faced this prob.
its random on different batches. mine so far ok

fyi, proton will sell their car frm yr 2011 until april/may cuz still overstock since last Aug. they'll finally start fresh production in april

hahha ya , they had/projected to sell 1.6k units/mth so its almost doubled than figure yearly

so far i heard 3 cars with major issues .ya sometimes its production defects that flows out bro.
make sure u get them to repair it all for u

2 cases was engine and yours the 3rd i heard (means personally i read from u guys complaint)

yea lor, i found out 1 lancer owner got rejected 1st round on claiming a faulty cvt , as u all knw it cost 22k
and mitsu also pandai lepas tangan by saying the owner drive using paddle shifters too much, really pandai lepas tangan

MT i havent ask proton yet, but dont worry wont be that expensive, probably less than 10k but then again MT easier to replace, can change the gears that are damage only if not so serious.unless more than 1 gears then only change whole set.
MT wont be so easily rosak, i think probably that time u also sell it off liou

ya other owners already advised him to make noise and get it replaced as 2yrs back 1 owner manage to get it claimed
