haha..nola..i got the idea from Bro Ari711, since he told me his car was fitted with a rear absorber cap..so i opened up the lancer rear suspension service manual and saw the bushing which wasnt present in our inspiras(if i recall correctly cuz i dont see them there when i changed my bump stopper)

Went see many rims.... Volk grams light 2nd hand rims around SGD950 before nego 17x7.... a few others 18"s also quite decent pricing. Main problem is they refuse to makan either our tyre or rims. Count count... being the cheapskate that I am... didnt buy.

Wonder tomorrow dat Ah Kit fella in Shah Alam got buka shop... if yes.. I probably go and grab some advanti rims.
Oh ya those who went Setapak Rim Heaven... they sell any ori Advanti rims? (I doubt there is any fake advanti rims though...)

Our ori rim is 16 x 6.5 with offset +46
If we change to 17x7.5 with similar offset (+46),
means the rim will stick out slightly more right? Since offset similar but the new rim is wider (7.5 instead of 6.5), our new rim will stick out about 0.5 inch?

white is not deep enough.

I don't feel any jerk .. so far the CVT has been running smooth. Way smoother than my previous crappy Honda Jazz CVT

When does this "tak tak" sound appear? Besides juddering I don't remember hearing any tak tak sound.

Added on January 8, 2012, 3:19 pmI just found out my windscreen tinting got some flaws. There is a long line like some sort of soap lining trapped between the tinting and the window. It is very visible at certain angle + sunlight. At first I thought is some oil stain but just now when I try to rub it off, I notice it can't be remove because it looks like it is stuck in between the tint and window.

Possible to get them re-tint the whole windscreen?

Just direct to ecotint? Dont have to go thru proton?

Any ecotint should do.... but based on reports, the best place to go to is the HQ at USJ. There's a girl there that's pretty.

Okay some of the stuffs with the price list.

Btw, these are nett prices, = after discounts from the workshop. Think roughly from 10-20% discount.

1. Driver door = RM2.2k
2. Passenger door, driver side = RM2.1k btw both doors does not include the glass. ONLY door.
3. One headlamp front = RM1.6k
4. Front and back bumper, the whole thing including paint = RM550 each.
5. The silver lining on 2.0's door at the glass there = Guess it, a whopping RM260 each!
6. 1 Rim = RM460.
7. Radiator = RM2.8k
8. Compressor = RM2.6k

Hm.. that should be it. Prices are approximate cz I only took a quick glance.. Some tips for you guys who unluckily kena la..

At least know how much u wanna ask if ppl kiss ur butt. Hhahhaa.

Btw, too long didnt follow up. On the 2.0 remap got new version? And am thinking to change tyres and rims. Want to get wider tyres.. 215 or so. Any issues? How much ah those tyres?
