Wheel on ground only create resistance... so less wheel on ground = less resistance = car goes faster!

Can can come.... I got 18" jor.. more corner stability!

Less sampan feel, more traction/stability in corner due to the wider 225 wheels.

As for bumpiness I dont feel at all, cause I have been checking seems the tyre 225/45/18 I using... the sidewalls is actually 4.5mm MORE then the Original Lancer GT tyre sidewalls. So it should be less harsh compared to the Lancer GT ori.

But.. my wife say she "feels" more bumpy.... i suppose she comparing to the Ori 205/60/16 elephant thick tyres kua

Speakign of brakes... after changing 18"... i keep looking at my wheel.... i think... can clear Brembo 4 pot easily....

I always believe Brakes is always a good investment, be it better disc, better pads, or better system.... braking distance of 1 meter or even 1 feet less sometimes can mean kissing someone's ass or not

215/55/18 cannot lah i think... too much bigger then our ori... i think abotu +6% more... dangerous le cannot use..

18" 225/45/18 i think good trade off... 225/40/18, the side wall thinner by about 11mm.. that's quite alot...

Unfortunately no such thing... pads stop the car via friction with the disc.... so... to have more bite.. more friction is cause.. thuse either your pads or your disc will wear out faster. So anyone advertising less wear, more stoppign power... is... er.. sellign u snake oil
