QUOTE(noobandroid @ May 26 2012, 03:24 PM) currently using e1762, and im getting 5Mbps tops speed, so is it good enough or if i upgrade to better modem, will get better reception and speed? I was using E1762 and yes got the speed you mentioned up there or more than 6Mbps. I changed to E353 and E367 after that, easily I can get more than 10Mbps. Worth or not? I must say yes. |

Thx in advance QUOTE(coolstore @ May 15 2012, 06:12 PM) E367u-8 stock version, whereby u-8 is quad 3g band: 850MHz+900MHz+1900MHz+2100MHz, the complete bands worldwide applicable verison! that's y stock run faster. This post has been edited by azrash: May 29 2012, 10:00 PM( If u not aware, each Huawei 3 series modem model are divided into several stock version, denoted by the last digit number of the model number. E.g. E353u-1, E353u-2... E367u-1, E367u-2, E367u-6, E367u-8.... E372u-1, E372u-2... etc. see the u-1, u-2 difference? The difference is which 3G band and how many 3G band supported by each modem version. u-1 generally refers to support single 3G band: 2100MHz only, u-2 refers to dual 3G band: 900MHz + 2100MHz ... (if u have been duped u-1 is multiband ... good luck ... How to check: a) online database resources such as: http://3g-modem.wetpaint.com/page/USB+modems b) use Huawei Mobile Partner software: Tools > Options > Network: All band (just like in the above picture). ![]() |
