QUOTE(wkkm007 @ Aug 23 2012, 08:39 PM) another + The Xiaomi Mi-2 using DC HSPA+ It is the 1st smartphone with DC HSPA+? as usual, generally we must avoiding first batch products. let them discover what's wrong, listen to first batch users complaints, rectify it and come out with patched product then only go for it. even international big brand can't come out with flawless product, let alone cn brand (although this is bigger cn brand).

QUOTE(Ruslu @ Sep 10 2012, 05:23 AM) First of all, this is what im getting currently ISP: Elisa (I live in Estonia) Huawei E367 + TP-Link MR3420 + External antenna. Signal strength is 74% (-67dBm), transmitter is about 200m away. 1) Would buying a DC-HSPA+ dongle give me better signal/speed/stability, even if we don't transmit DC-HSPA+? 2) Which is the best dongle you can currently get (excluding 4G ones)? 3) Would updating the E367's firmware to the latest give me any boost in speed or stability? only if your place being offered DC-HSPA+ network, then upgrading to a DC-HSPA+ modem would see obvious differences: almost doubling existing speed (would be 19Mbs~21Mbps). single channel vs dual channel to make thing simple.

QUOTE(wkkm007 @ Sep 15 2012, 01:46 AM) did u order 1 haha Added on September 15, 2012, 2:01 ammaybe you just get an 7.2mbps modem since you can't use the H+ net. this should be cheaper. Do your country service provide free modem with sim lock or contract on some broadband plan? i don't join yet, as history say, keep avoiding first batch, i dont' wanna be white rat. but below 1000 ppl can get a dc-hspa+ smartphone is really tempting, but then need to 'verify' how true is that first. later i will compose a page for dc-hspa+ sharing guide. Added on September 15, 2012, 2:37 pmQUOTE(Ruslu @ Sep 15 2012, 02:28 AM) My network is 21Mbits, so its HSPA+. My country provides a free unlocked modem depending on what subscription I take. As I took the most expensive one with no DL, UL and bandwidth limits I got the E367 for free. better stick to your existing e367 for current network standard, no need dc-hspa+ modem yet, won't see much difference. when the dc network ready then upgrade your modem. QUOTE(nordingh @ Sep 16 2012, 10:47 AM) Want to ask all Huawei modem seller is this true?.... 1st... the story.... copy paste directly I ask : kalau calar habis warranty ke? seller comment: if 'ada calar x ada warranty' this term can stand on it foot, i'm ready to provide 10 years warranty. i also think all equipment vendor/dealer ready to provide 10/100 year warranty if this term incorporated. (since u never can claim, this is not like LCD/LED white dot/dead dot that countable and factual undeniable, scratch is sth too subjective, full discretion power at seller. (and it can happen easily within journey of posting, whether from u to him, or from him to claim or when first sell to u arrive at your hand with scratch already...) dari kilang, kekeke
