Posting here for discussion 

Why I prefer burst fire?
- The bullets from burst fire are predictable and usually hit right on the spot.
- Fully Automatic fire has TOO much spread and gets worse under suppression.
- Burst fire is able to kill fast at close, medium and long range.
- Save bullets. Don't have to spam a full round on an enemy.

I would like to write about my experience on some of the best assault rifles.

F2000 (My best assault rifle before the patch)
- High ROF (850)
- Accurate, bullets are predictable even at fully automatic
- Low recoil
- Able to kill fast from close to long range.

However the December patch increased the spread of F2000, takes longer time to kill enemies from medium to long range enemies.

The Notorious FAMAS (My Current best assault rifle, using burst fire throughout every match)
- Highest ROF (1000)
- Fastest burst fire, kill extremely fast at close, medium and long range (Best CQB gun)
- Low recoil and predictable on burst fire (At fully automatic, the recoil and spread is the worst)
Down side: longest reload time, burst fire spread all over the sight under suppression. Have to stay at perfect steady position to give an accurate full punch.

M16A3 (been testing it recently, haven't tried out M16A4 burst fire)
- ROF (800)
- Fastest reload time, high maneuverability.
- Lowest recoil
Down side: doesn't kill as fast as famas,  very high spread and unpredictable at full automatic and gets worse under suppression. When the spread kicks in, killing enemies at medium to long range is tough even controlling the burst.

End of story: FAMAS is still not good enough for my taste. The perfect gun for me would be the least spread, controllable recoil, kill fast from close to long range effectively. A gun that allows for full maneuverability. Going to test out the KH 2002 burst fire.

p.s. i prefer least spread and accurate assault rifle, even while moving, standing from prone, under suppression etc.

My preferred attachments: Holo/ PKA-S, foregrip and silencer. Hiding from minimap is crucial to stay alive on console.

f2000- was my best last time....but dont work so well in long range especially in B2K maps

famas- recoil is ridiculous if moving around while shooting. but the good side can kill very fast 

PKA-S is the russian type of holo 

edit: u probably killed too many times by famas and now u rage 

my best weapon so far M60E4 and for assault AN-94 .. and most important weapon KNIFE   

an-94 worst weapon in bf3...but best assault rifle in bfbc2

shotgun is not my fav....
havent use FAMAS yet,
seldomly use USAS,

other guns gud with iron sight, but in some map, scope would be helpful....
