QUOTE(Tiger I @ Jan 28 2012, 09:24 PM) ![]() overall i really going rage to assembling this with a cutter, tamiya paints and a knife only.... some parts really badly molded and some parts the connecting pegs are distored or off badly makes me rage and end up i cut all pegs like a boss then use UHU glue to stick it liek a boss. paint i use hand paint and my skill really like cheapo factory china man....and the first later paint really does looks sucks as nyosan mentioned before i think the paint is not stick on it so wait it dry and quick paint 2nd or 3rd layer of same colour paint for it. paint too much stroke will melt the 1st layer paint and revert back to first stage.... and the manual instruction really messed me inside out..... really need to read 5-10 times to understand what is it meaning. more of that some parts really cant snap properly and i had to cut the peg again and wipe a thick layer of UHU glue again and stick it XD some parts i cut a big "wound" to allow it to put on it... the bottom part. like this... ![]() i cut 2 cuts at the corner there to allow the hydraulic pump parts stick together...well no one watch for the bottom part so no one knows lol... more picture later since my house lighting is bad haha.,... wait me put in office then i will shoot more angle for my first and the last hand paint work work i ever did XD |

Since this is a pirated kit thread, I was wondering : Aside from the actual models, do pirated stands / action bases exist ?
Specifically, ones that look a little like this ? Found it on another thread here, just interested if there were more along those lines in existence. This post has been edited by Zegraxis: Jan 29 2012, 09:39 PM |

Hi There.. nice to meet you, I could say base on your picture, it's using mechanical chain base to mod it.. and he do add some detailing on the base that's why it look nice. TT Hongli does comes out with the mechanical chain base, and below pictures require 2 sets of (1 to 6 types) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « For More Info... about the mechanical chain base, do check the link below:- Here! Ah, thanks mate. Nice to meet you too, by the way.
Awesome bit of information there, my google-fu is a bit weak, since I never came across that blog Will attempt to scout around and bag a couple of those sometime soon. |
