yeap enough liao. the compressor is good enough for mini works/detailing. can last for about 7-8 minutes (wat the guy told me). just perfect for small time AB

Where do u get the AB n compressor?

6-8 minutes then...? what do i do? is it there's a downtime for ABs? i feel so noob at this

that time saw this wanted to buy, but changed mind go research local aquarium air pumps instead so didnt order
research until headache liao now regret no order

cuz that is more like an air pump, where the motor spins to pump compressed air into the AB
and the motor will overheat

real big/expensive air compressor consist of a motor and a tank
it pumps and compress air into the tank where the air is stored and stay pressured
after that u can paint with the motor switched off just using the pressurised air in the tank

it's a dual-action AB gun, took me a while to learn to use it (cos i last time use single action one).

I not sure of the prices these days, but 4-5 years ago dual AB cost about 110-120. i paid 165 (plus postage) get the crocodile clips as well (not cheap these things). i think it's worth buy for me la.

Usage i not sure wanna try on wat. i need to go buy primer first.


oh btw.... to start AB it's not cheap. u need Mr Hobby's leveling thinner (about rm45-50 for 400ml), mr surfacer (rm15-20) and mr colors (rm7-10 per bottle)

thanks myky seems i still have a lot to learn.. i'll go look up tutorials later on.. my main concern was whether or not the compressor itself was good enough for a first-timer to try his hand at AB.. seems i'll have to wait for your update on this

u can custom order a display case, normally those shops making large photo/poster frame makes it

it'll work the same as a real full set AB with compressor
only problem for newbie is tend to overshoot the time limit i guess
