 GOMAD, problem with this diet

ok now, last month i started GOMAD diet, galon of milk a day, i totally replace my water intake with milk, so i ended up poop 7 times on the first day, and all my poop are like infants poop... so i stopped, and bulk with eating tons of rubbish food

now due to fever for a few days, my weight dropped, my arms and chest seems to be smaller, so i think of this way of bulk again, and the same thing happen, i poop alot of times , until my hole pain... is it normal?? of my body cannot stand so much milk

You are lactose intolerant.

Anyway, milk is for babies , real men drink beer cool2.gif

You can circumvent this via lactose pills but being asian , you're better off getting other sources of protein.

GOMAD is not for everyone , unless you're a lean ecto , you'll gain a heck of a lot of fat.

my protein intake is already 1.5xgrams of my body weight in pounds, i just need extra calories, but im afraid eating ice cream to bulk is more unefficient then milk

So get more carbs and fats in. Don't see why gomad is your only choice to bulk up.

means, if i eat ice cream, white rice or even biscuits is as good as drinking milk? milk is also my choice because i never makes me feels full, so i can drink alot and alot to achieve calorie surplus blush.gif

Since you've hit your protein intake requirement ...

Nuts ? Honey ? Olive oil shots? Yoghurt or if you have cash , cottage cheese (costly here in Malaysia). There's a yoghurt smoothie recipe floating around here with 800 ++ kcals and 70g's of protein.

Be creative. No point forcing something that makes you sick.

i am seriously skinny, i dropped from 60kg to 57 kg in just 2 days fever, hmm, but nvm, i'll listen to my body, i'll eat hell lot of rice

Milk has a very very high glycaemic index. Not really an ideal bodybuilder's food. I'm not saying it's bad, but you should not depend on it mostly for bulking.

and about 7 poops a day that's prolly your stomach isn't used to milk, inb4 lactose intolerance

Can you even do GOMAD in Malaysia? Must be expensive...

I have been doing GOMAD for about a month now for Starting Strength and am pleased with the results. Starting BW 61kg (170cm), now 66kg but I don't feel any fatter. I am a cyclist doing too much cardio though so I have to control my weight.

i'm used to drink hl milk but in a smaller portion. days ago, i bought a big pack of it n finished it in a day n ended up farting for the whole day. n yesterday, same thing happened. am i lactose intolerance too?
