Hi All,

Need some help here... cry.gif ...

I own 850 auto (2000)...

My problem:

1) overheated engine...(even before engine overhauled, problem was there)

car just went for major overhaul end of last year...piston changed to bigger dia...
radiator changed to double layer....Radiator fan checked and found OK...head changed to other unit, as the one originally
inside the car was said by my mechanic already being skimmed.

The temperature only rising when stucked in traffic jammed(+/- 20minutes)

No problem faced on the temperature even drive from penang to alor star. Only when the car's
not moving, the problem surfaced.....

Should have follow the mechanic proposal...change the engine... doh.gif ...

Thanks in advance.

It did came across my mind about the fan speed, but the radiator located at the back of the condenser unit of the aircond,
which drive by a big fan.....the radiator itself have a fan.....I bought it second-handed..maybe previous owner modified
the air cond system of the car....

In other word...even my radiator fan kong...I still have the condenser fan to dissipate the heat form both the
radiator and condenser...

I just thinking of buying higher rpm of the radiator fan,,,,Is it available?.......perhaps also buying a bonet with a big scoop.... sweat.gif ..

Thanks guyzzz for your opinion...
