Hi! I'm currently pursuing make up courses and graduating soon. I'm taking classes from a freelance make up artist so I don't have a cert or anything but I would like to build my own portfolio so that I can have a better profile. My location is based on PJ. I really need volunteer models but I could only use my compact camera to take your pictures. Sorry that I couldn't provide you any professional studio pictures! And also I couldn't provide you pretty costume. You can use the clothes from your wardrobe yea! But before that, I think I need some advises from everyone! Getting Started

|
Try posting this at the "Finance, Business and Investment House"
I suggest you do free jobs, a.) offer to do make up for potential brides. b.) Networking, get to know some photographers, do free jobs for them and get to know more ppl, online like forums or offline

Hi Senri, I think KokHoe8 has given some good pieces of advice. Facebook is also good for networking. It's great that you're wanting to build a good portfolio. It's definitely very important. I'd like to know more about what you do. What sort of make up art are you learning - for bridal, runway etc? Also, what brand do you use on your volunteer models? You may PM me more information and I see what I can help. This post has been edited by rachw: Jan 12 2012, 10:45 AM
