Added on January 5, 2012, 6:46 pmmay i ask 1 question?

did anyone manage to have arc running 1 day or more on battery with standard usage?

I must say Arc battery is sooo bad...standard usage can last for 1 3/4 day only. If you switch ON just WIFI for whole day, the battery gone very fast...I need to charge every nite when reach home from work. If forgot to charge, tomorrow morning, si liao loh...

I got my ARC S totally free! Oops...actually from AMBANK Balance Transfer with free gift!

Well, this ARC S design can compete with Samsung Galaxy S2, but screen little bit smaller cos S2 is 4.3", Arc is 4.2".
So far I really frustrated about this phone is the battery. Damn...everyday has to charge. If you skip 1 day to charge, I can tell you early morning you wake up the battery left 2%.

Anyone here know any battery replacement for the stock to increase the capacity?

There are sometimes got lagging when swiping on the screen menu. Not really smooth...i doubt it is 1.4Ghz, although
my internal RAM still leftover 160mb.

Any solution?

I just upgrade to Android 4.0 on my ARC S, and feels like nothing much special on this version. Only few I see some changes, like shortcut UNLOCK to Camera. However the RAM memory has been increased after upgrade.

i dunno..should update to ics..or stay for a while on gingerbread..
*
bro, you should try the ICS cos I'm using it now and it definitely much better than Gingerbread version with some good performance, like no more lagging, better camera input, better RAM, etc...

Good luck!

i tried the Arc S official ICS, and besides the new look, I got less fluid movement and less RAM.  i reverted back to Gingerbread.  but at least i can say to myself that i had tried it, though i did not like it that much.

How come you have less RAM? mine got more RAM than previous version. It feel much quicker now and better response. Perhaps you have too many apps right? My RAM now left over about 190mb.

anyone here is using Sygic GPS on ARC S? Trial version or Full version? How to get the full version? I find this Sygic is so good better than Papago X5.
It can detect the satelite signal in the house!
