I wonder why arc ics update delay so muc? Aint arc s is just an oc arc?

mintak bantuan arcian sekalian..aku beli memory kad baru.then aku copy segala gmbar mp3 dari memory kad lama ke memory kad baru.aku tgk mcm ade virus.file dgn nama yg pelik2.aku scan virus ada trojan.dah scan aku cucuk kat arc s.mcm xelok je, aku tukar guna memori kad lama aku.aku copy mp3 ke dlm kad lama then cucuk kat enset,henset da xdetect mp3 yg aku baru masukkan..aku agak ini virus.so nak tanya,kalao flash,virus leh ilang x?

did you copy everything from your old memory card to the new one? i meant EVERYTHING. if not then your phone wont function like it used to with the new card cause this phone depends heavily on memory card

then maybe the mp3 file is the problem is everything else are normal. Try downloading another mp3 and transfer to your phone.

yeah dunno why they do that...doesn't make any sense. Arc is fast enough as it is if they are talking about cpu limitations. only problem is the RAM and arc s has the same too.

y not just flash to custom ics rom,much better than stock ics...

Actually I was wondering why d heck I waited for an ics update for arc?? I hv rooted my arc immediately when I bought this phone 9 months ago. N during dat tym tonroot need to unlock bootloader n my phone is already unlock.

Guess I think it is about tym for me to play with custom rom. B4 I proceed, need a couple of advices from fellow otai in flashin custom roms.

1. Obviusly I hv to back up everytg right? Gues titanium backup wil do it.
2. My phone originally is a lt15a, instead of normally lt15i. But I already flash to lt15i last tym when I update to 2.3.3 iinm. So would it make any different to d process when updating n flashin??
3. So far how was it the ics feels like from u guys opinion? So muc better or better just stick wt gingerbread? I love ics from my tablet s, so much bettrr thn honeycomb, so I expect similar experience if I were to update my phone.

1. Always doing back up before flashing new ROM..Titanium Back up will be one option but if we coming from GB to ICS some data are not compatible..( Most important : Back up contacts to SD card using phonebook is always the best..after flashing import it again..)

2. As I know, the different is just how to unlock the bootloader since LT15a is contract with telco provider..after that the flashing the ROM process still the same way..

3. It is a new experience using ICS..there are many ICS Custom ROM rebase from ICS official with different tweak and performance..also had ICS Custom ROM 4.0.4 too..taste it which one suitable for you..GB ROM always there if you want to switch back..

p/s : ICS Custom ROM is always the best than stock official ICS..

no3..ya ics much better than honeycomb..only a week got my xoom quite not satisfied with it, than unlocked it and flash to custom ics rom..you can feel the different like from driving a proton to E series

for ars s ..still using rooted stock ics..so far quite satisfied with the performance with a few tweaked..and i think ics still better than GB...will think to unlock the bootloader later if really need to use custom rom

Im only using prepaid broadband..speed like shiet,thats y i hentam till almost 10gb a week haha..oh yup! Its is just mtv video lol..

memory card dah format ka

da format berkali2.then bila masukkan file mp3 or picture or others pastu keluar la files yg virus tue.aku agak la pc aku kene virus android.

pc kau dah ada virus laa tu...format pc kau plak..

Ada la haha..tp speed kurang sikit la..but for usage like web browsing n fb ok lor..but i always downloading big file n ofcoz it take few hours haha..need to plug in a charger n take off that back cover then hang ur phone infront of fan.sked later blowup overheat

aku da tgk kat celcom page..512kbps rm50/month.now aku guna rm68/month 1.5mbps..ingat nak switch to rm50/month.but when i see the speed and capacity,i think berbaloi la i bayar lebih rm18..
