by referring to the picture, lowest spec price is 70k,
maybe thats why got rejected by gov because too close with P3-21A highest spec price

70-99k sure reject one... Too cheap for Proton.. And the price gap doesn't really make sense.. 1.6MT to AT is 9k den 1.6low to high is 10k then another 10k from 1.6hi to 1.8..

If SD is really being forced by gomen to price the car high (as believed by many) and indeed have the goodwill to sell the car to public they can give out High cash rebates, Low loan interest rate, Free maintenance for 3 years, Free petrol vouchers, Free Touch N Go worth RM500...just like what many other car dealers are doing now

This is wat I said before... If the approve price r too high, find way to compensate... Bermaz doing the thing 3 years back... Naza even can do it until rebate 10k "providing" u trade a car back...

To me, whoever fault, this still go back to the inability of the company... Isn't it?

i just placed booking today. luckily didn't go for Forte, as sure will regret like hell, when next month seeing one Elantra stopping beside me at red lights.

I placed a refundable booking for it today as well. Was opting for a Forte before but finally decided to wait it out for this beauty after looking at it at MidValley.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long.

According to the sales rep from Hyundai HQ, you can top up 4.5k to get the extra features (Touch Screen LCD, reverse camera etc.) that's only available to the 1.8L variant.

But if the above is true and the price difference between the 1.6 and 1.8 is only 10k, it might be worth it to go all out on a 1.8L engine instead.
