the problem of korea car is spare part very expensive. eg gear box for gets cost rm 8k. proton recond cost rm 1.6k

Do u even know the cost of Toyota parts??? Yesterday I was quoted a siren speaker for rm500+ !!! potong can get for rm40. But the beep beep sound cacat. T air one service also 300+. Yes I just came back fr SC. My front suspension kong within 3 yrs. luckily got warrant. If not another 800+. At least Hyundai giving 5 yrs war. Can T & H do it? They can't bcoz not confident with their car quality

Does their 5 year warranty same with Mazda's 3 year or 100k km warranty whereby all parts are under warranty? If it is, we can drive with peace, that if the spare parts are easily accessible.

It is still too early to say about P3. Now you only see the car on paper.
Proton is lacking a lot of experience compared to other auto makers. They simply don't have that kind of expertise yet to go head on with others.

This warranty thing is a very sticky thing if u get what i mean. Before u buy they say 5 years warranty, but can they guarantee they will replace it for u when something happens? Pls read thru their t&c first. Sometimes even if gearbox rosak and its not ur fault, they will come up with all sorts of excuses not to replace it for u. So just becareful
