Had a chat with a Hyundai salesperson this morning. He mentioned the roadshow at MidValley this 22-26 Feb will only showcase the car. No pricing will be revealed yet. Apparently the government didn't approve the initial pricing of the car (not sure if too low, or too high). Prices are only expected to be revealed early March, along with the cars in the showroom.

Because not good news then update here also kena shooted, better spend time to find customers.

guys... I heard from a very reliable source that the Elantra will be launched on...

I just call the 1-300.....number to enquire....
and they say the Elantra MD launch has been postponed to mid March 'cos of pricing.

The roadshow at MV will only feature the other cars and no Elantra

Yeah, I think that's the 1.8 Premium. Not sure about the sunroof though. Just snapped a quick photo while walking to office. Will have to go look at it again during lunchtime.

Went down to SDAH Sg Pinang to look at the car during lunch break today. A real beauty, more so in its metal state. Was allowed to sit inside d car. Dashboard feels good with soft materials on top as well as on d steering wheel with some plastic along the central dash and some other places. Black leather seats with red lining on all seats but not as ugly as I thought. Obviously all black will be most ideal. Not able to find d button to fold the side mirror however which is a disappointment for me since parking in Pg is always challenging and wld be helpful to hv it folded esp when it's new and hot. Checked with SA, he is of d opinion tht is foldable but cld not find d button too. Anyone hv any idea? Price not confirmed yet. Keeping finger cross its within my budget.
