lol.. checked ady.. yr media player only supports HDMI 1.3.. means u need additional RCA cable to transmit the audio to your TV.. so far i din notice any ports that can be used to control DVD..

Then too bad, i'll try use HDMI for video support for my media player with RCA for audio
for DVD player, all RCA into LCD, hope there are enough audio ports on my LCD

HDMI 1.3 is video only.. HDMI 1.4 is both.. when u buy cable u oso need to notice.. 1.3 is cheaper than 1.4..

yr speaker u using the ones from TV? then i think u will have problem if u wanna mix HDMI n RCA.. because the TV will only pick from 1 source.. means, if u choose the source from HDMI, then it wont play the audio from RCA.. u go back n try n see.. cz that's the common setting.. maybe yours can, i dunno..

if no sound, then all use RCA..

if not enough port, then buy 1 RCA switch port to connect both and manually change.. lol..

when u plug in the RCA/HDMI, u notice there will write what source is it.. then when u use yr remote to change source, just select the same name, then it will display the device that is connected to that port..

usually for RCA it will write AVI or RCA or sth like that then got numbering 1, 2, or 3 if u have multiple ports..
