Been wondering, normally you guys use what brand of air-con?

live in my new house for 8months, i think i only use it 3 or 4 times

Because they eat lots of electricity or your new house environment is just too cooling?

it doesn't use much electricity i think?

not used to the cold temperature. end up using fan instead

how about the latest models of Panasonic air-cond ? Saw their ads some times ago about the "green-based" air cond

hahaha.. most of the air conds ads saying 50% energy saving.. all bluff ppl 1 la..

wat inverter inverter tis tat.. u need to read their small print on how they claim the 50% energy saving part..

inverter unit usually consumes the same amount of electric as non-inverter units during hot noon or hot days.. the effect of saving for inverters only shine during cooler days or night time.. that's true for general inverter air conds la.. maybe now got newer tech, then need to read out more bit..

one good thing about inverter is, your temperature wont fluctuate that often. becz when your set temperature is reach, non-inverter units will cut off the compressor so that it will maintain the room temperature u set.. once the temperature exceeds the set temp, then the compressor kick in again to compress the refrigerants. sth like your fridge, sometimes u hear it's very noisy, sometimes it's quiet.. inverter unit doesn't cut off the compressor, it just runs slower..

Yes, the inverter part, i dunno whether it really makes a difference. Now, new Panasonic came up a new technology called EcoNavi. Yup, i saw it in The Star newspaper ad. Sigh
