All Crysis can be added to Origin as long as you have the keys, I even tried my old physical retail copies got them when it first released, works without a hitch.

Though like alex82 mentioned not all can be added which is especially true for older titles, you can just contact EA cust support to manually enable the keys for you. For best results any pre-2009 titles would work fine on Origin.

Pretty certain Crysis Max edition can be directly activated on Origin. Just send them a screenshot of your proof. If they inquire it, just tell them your keys. Thats how I activated my BF2 complete collection on Origin.

Not all EA games from Steam are available on Steam while you can easily add most modern EA games to Origin easily. As far benefits it all boils down to choices I guess.

I think you should contact the cust support, could be a rare bug within the system. Crafting coals for less coals doesn't make any sense.
