I hope your account safe for a long run. There's no guarantee that Valve wouldn't look into the matter. You should notice that Valve tend to ban account with recurring term of services violation. That mean, they probably just being lenient at first.

No wonder they ran out of 3rd party gifts. Too much people have and created duplicate accounts solely for this purpose. Well, these type of customer also play their part on hastened this problem. Shame on them, took something from others that play by the rules. Very, very selfish.

QUOTE(ray148 @ Jan 2 2012, 01:32 PM) i just realized that steam still didn't update Broken Sword 2 to Remastered version... Really? No wonder all the screenshots were taken from cutscenes. Take a look at other 2 games, they provided in-game screenshot. The remastered version introduce new dialog screen and slide effect for for certain background, make it look like in 3D. Better get the whole series (4 games) from GOG, 50% off with all those extras and DRM free.wth steam!!!!! it has been released for almost a year!!! |

QUOTE(hakimix @ Jan 2 2012, 04:42 PM) One of the reasons why I didn't buy the Triple Pack although the price is really tempting at $2.49. Still waiting for the Remastered Edition. I don't think they would just give out for free to those who already bought the game right? Revolution Software said they already gave the Remastered Edition to Valve to be put on Steam. But I don't know why it has not been updated. The first game on Steam is remastered edition right? But the remastered edition for first game make it worse according to many fan and myself. They edited plenty of cutscenes; removed some of 'em, added out of place Nico perspective, lots of hot spot has been removed, and the ending was altered. I didn't bother to finish the game because it's like below par effort from Revolution Software. While the 2nd one didn't alter anything, just make the graphic and overall experience better. If buy it on GOG, you got the extras which included the original game (Broken Sword Shadow of the Templars & Broken Sword 2 The Smoking Mirror). Basically you got 2 games with each purchase, which is a steal. The only hassle is, you need to alter a single line in the original 1996 BS1's .ini to enable the save game function, because it's an old game. |

QUOTE(AweFace @ Jan 2 2012, 06:15 PM) Thanks to this selfish mofo (and his/her kind), Valve ran out of prize before the schedule. And the gifts from banned account went straight to trash bin, not even revoked. |

QUOTE(talexeh @ Jan 5 2012, 12:35 AM) Exactly why I don't advocate having everything activated in Steam. Diversify is the word of the day. Lately i fell in love with Gamers Gate. I feel their catalogue is huge, similar to Steam. Their sales during holiday is not bad, but it's a shame i didn't realized it earlier because i'm very new with the service |

Darn, AOE III. 6 years old game but still sold at full price, $40. Even with the expansions, it still too expensive.

From this one year old thread, http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/steam_...for_only_2_euro the game is compatible with Windows 7, already DOSboxed, and DRM free once you recreate the shortcut to the game.

QUOTE(fat cat @ Jan 18 2012, 02:23 AM) Just get Black Edition. The first two games are definitely the best from the franchise. The most standout element from the game are the variety and inspiring environment and enemy design. Other game from the series just look like budget FPS game. No surprise since the sequel isn't made by same developer. This post has been edited by Angel of Deth: Jan 18 2012, 02:37 AM |

QUOTE(kof91 @ Jan 23 2012, 06:33 PM) You must have an invite from particular group admin to join the group. For example; i'm member of GOG gift club, but in to enroll in the list there are specific condition that must been met before the administrator send me an invitation code. I guess any private group will implement certain condition, to limit entries. |

QUOTE(Katsuke @ Feb 1 2012, 08:00 AM) People still insist on buying Duke Nukem Forever? Duke Nukem 3D easily worth more than $1 despite being an old game. But that being said i think Blood is little bit a better game.Give it to me for a $1, and I still won't buy it. Horrid disasterpiece. How bout the very first classic Duke Nukem 3D.. for a $1? or even on my iPhone sure I'll play it and finish it again, but never, never, EVER, Duke Nukem Forever. |

QUOTE(Mr.Beanster @ Feb 3 2012, 04:22 PM) Im planning to buy 1 soon. Wired or wireless are more suitable for PC? For me wired is more than enough. The cable is really long, i forgot the value but maybe around 2 meter. With proper cable management, those long cable will not become a hassle. And you can save RM30 - RM40 with wired controller + no battery required. There are many Xbox 360 controller out there but i confused which 1 to get. I've been looking at the xbox 360 razer onza with dpad or the official black xbox360 controller http://www.lelong.com.my/razer-onza-contro...7-01-Sale-I.htm This post has been edited by Angel of Deth: Feb 3 2012, 05:46 PM |
