Dunno man, i have seen LA Noire on PS3, it looks like a quick time event game with detective element like finding evidence or chasing down suspects.

I think mafia games have always been set in fictitious cities based on real life counterparts like chicago, new york and LA.

They are very nice games with lots of story you should try it.
