Hi guys,

Been years since I've logged into CPS tribe. V11 already!! Congrats!! Happy new year to all too.

Anyhow, I have a questions regarding the handling. My Waja seems to be handling weird lately and I suspect it is the absorbers. Anyone here knows the part numbers of the absorbers (stock) used by Waja CPS?

Hi...how weird it is? Feeling floaty? I recommend using better abs than stock for much better handling & stability. But have to sacrifice a bit on comfort.
*
Hi bro. Feeling floaty and very "uneasy". My tyres seems to be wearing down too so am gonna get all 4 replaced this weekend and see if it helps. Agreed with aftermarket abs but for me the car is very bouncy already. Dont want it to be any more uncomfortable.

Anyone knows the part no etc for the ori abs? Thanks again.

Hey guys. Had a big service day today. Just to share on my 70k km service this morning done at Proton Edar Mutiara Damansara.

Petronas Syntium 1000 - RM185
Oil filter - RM12.22
Gasket drain plug - RM3.32
Screen wash - RM5.71
ATF - RM119.84
Oil filler cap - RM35.74

Total after adding in labour is RM457.25

Also changed tyres today @ Lim Tyre in Desa Sri Hartamas.

4 pieces Continental ContiComfortContact CC5 @ RM240 each. Added alignment (balancing included in the price) @ RM40.

Car feels good after being serviced nicely. Still wanna change my suspension. If anyone knows the part number for the original shock absorber would be great.

Been recommended to change to R3 ones. Does anyone know how much it is for full set of R3 suspension? Will it lower my ride? For me important is the comfort and usability so prefer not to have the ride height lowered.

Also, anyone done timing belt service yet? For CPS is it done @ 80k km or 100k km? Forgot to ask at CC this morning....

For timing belt it's the 80k service. Prepare RM1K at least. To be safe you should bring more. Mine was over RM1K. I'm also looking to replace my absorber. But lack money at the moment. That's what happen when you forgot to do what's important first. I install amp in my car when I should have use that money to replace the absorber.
*
I know the feeling man. But 1k min for timing belt change is scary!! :S Maybe I should start saving.

Another question for everyone. My CPS has the 5 year warranty. I understand that it is actually 3+2. I'm actually already into my extended warranty period. Was planning to move on to a different mechanic (non panel) after I've done the timing belt service. Any comments?

Just my 2 cents. I drive my CPS quite hard so every service, additional to the normal stuff the SC ask to change I also replace the ATF. Same with bro Fazron80 I use fully synthetic as well so that I dont have to service every 5k km.

I think I will take bro chrislyv's way and drain/change coolant every service as well. I have never thought of it before but its true, its relatively cheap and easy job.

*
I actually have all my service receipts. 40k service as below (done @ Service Mesra Petronas Damansara Jaya):
Syntium 1000 - RM180
Oil filter - RM12.22
Gasket drain oil plug - 3.32
Radiator coolant - 56.68
ATF - RM154.55
Spark plugs - RM38
Air filter - RM23.71
Brake fluid - RM19.66
Rear disc brake pads - RM53.19

Total including labor and tax is RM667.35

Hope this helps.

another issue is, any of u had this with ur AT - cps? when engine is cold at 1st start up & drive.. the 1st gear takes longer to change. is this normal?
*
Very normal. I find that if I let the engine heat up a little (at least until the "engine cold" light goes off) its better.

I just recently change my Waja's to CC5. Quite satisfied as its really quiet and handling not bad. 195/60/R15 @ RM240 each from Lim Tayar Sri Hartamas.
