Woahhh...R3 exhaust still dont feel fast? Hahaha..jk jk

Hi there. I'm new to this group. I have a 2010 Gen2 CPS (M) registered in 2011. Mods are: R3 cat back exhaust system (have not done the header), Works Engineering filter and NGK iridium plugs. Glad to meet you all.

Was thinking it may affect the warranty as I still have one more year to go. This is considering that it removes the catalytic converter and also that it has some sensors in there. I may add it in if you guys say it is ok. I will definitely get the R3 version to complete the collection.

I did my exhaust before my car reaches 10K. For my car I know that it doesn't affect the engine warranty and gearbox. If my gearbox is kong wth it gotta do with my exhaust. Engine is a different concern coz it does connect to the exhaust. But I think if you did the r3 full system it doesn't affect warranty isn't. Eh when you decide to put the whole system in can you do dyno? Not directly after installing exhaust like I did in 2008. That was a mistake. Do it after 3 months maybe so that the result is more correct. Immediately after installing the exhaust I went for dyno. 6 month after that did another dyno and there's 4hp difference.

The change engine case la.. Stupid proton want me to register my engine number on my own self. Argh!!! I still not sure what they will bring in to sell but definitely good things from Germany. I will run my engine on all these things... Say bye bye to Petronas... Ahahahahaha...

i think the engine will be quite rough also like campro.. bcoz its also based on campro..
engine power, do not expect much bcoz hav turbo..
can play with cps consider good liao..
i've seen they demo the preve.. power not tht impressive like turbo cars..
so i think better dont expect too much from it. also pray tht the CVT can tahan..

Just now test drive preve. SA yg entertain aku uncle tua. Siot je tak bagi tay aku mana s mode. Mula2 tu aku bwk guna 'uncle' mode. Tapi banyak cakap plak uncle ni. Cari punya cari jumpa s mode. Terus aku pedal to metal sampai uncle tu pegang bahu aku. Hahaha... tibe2 die cakap "wah manyak kuat oh".. kekekeke.. tapi betul la memang lag awal2. Tp lps 2k rpm terkezut gak aku sebab waja cps manual aku pon tak blah camtu. Hohoho

by the way, i stand corrected guys. i did say that the preve was sluggish and noisy from my test drive a few days back with one of the showrooms in kl but when i tried the car again in seremban earlier today, it was the opposite. it was quite smooth, relatively quiet (at least quieter than my g2) and also had a decent kick. and up to 170kph, it handled like a gem even on fast sweeping corners. i played with the manual override and it was quite responsive. i only didn't quite like the rev limiter which changed up automatically even before (i think) the car reached its sweet spot.

wondering if the test car in kl was feeling a little under the weather that day.

the seat rails don't go far enough though. my friend (who is a little vertically challenged) couldn't get the seat to reach close enough to the front for her to reach the pedals! well, one sale lost there.

but then jumping back into my g2 cps manual, i think there's nothing quite like it. the preve is fine but i would still choose my g2 over it.

How fast to reach 180kmh?

i really need a car with good NVH. Less tiring during long journey driving. Mana punya dealer ko pegi?

If u plan to use waja i suggest put sound insulation (or what it called?). Expensive but good investment. I agreed driving a good nvh car for long distance journey is less tiring.

So in summary preve is really fast or easy to drive fast?

Inspira 1.8 manual. But what sells now are final stock i believe cos no more inspira 1.8 after this.

Btw, i just pour x1r into my waja. I tried to think the extra oomph i got is just placebo effect but i think  this real tho

Some SA doesn't take any effort of explaining and  maybe also learning the new tech, some even said CPS=Mini Turbo and also IAFM=CPS. Once at the showroom, a customer asked the SA why the persona boot got 2 'bonggol' inside the boot (for suspension) not like vios, and the SA just cannot explain this is for better stability during cornering (multilink).

if too expensive better opt for R3 package. rim 16 + tyre RM2999 only. at least the rim is lightweight and they are using RE002. the only concern is whether the rims color (got silver and gun metal) can match with blue haze
