MOM? Well Kuyt would be the obvious pick I suppose but I give Martin Kelly a lot of credit. I thought he had a superb first half especially. Giggs may no longer have the pace but he has the experience but Kelly didn't give him room to breathe. Note that all the manc's dangerous crosses came from Enrique's end. Once again, I'm backing Kelly to get his first senior cap by the end of the season. Good to see him come through the ranks. Not since Stephen Warnock have we had a player from the academy become a first team regular.

I still don't rate AC as a good player. However, we failed to utilize his strength with our poor crosses. Not to say that AC is a good header (Hyypia was the best). That makes him unbearable to watch as he can't dribble, can't hold the ball well enough, slow, can't really bring others into play. Lets hope he realize his potential. And hopefully he build up his confidence after setting up Kuyt for the goal.

Speaking of which how many times has Kuyt scored against MU? He seems to be the next Danny Murphy.

IMO Manu domination of midfield subdued after Scholes was replaced. Darn the kuda tua still have it in him. Although I hate the Mancs, but must give credit where credit is due. We are after all Liverpool fans with dignity.

Apart from early Maxi's effort and Dagger's goal, our build up play attack was non existent in first half. Most of the time only AC upfront alone, and he is no Torres (in his prime) who can create something out of nothing. Don't fancy the 5-4-1 employed by KK for first half. Our passing, possession & build up play was nowhere near MU. Still we won with the sucker punch goal. Lady luck.
