A few things to check.
1) When stop and idling the engine, does the compressor cuts off? If yes, check the wiring, magnetic clutch
2) Air con or radiator fan, is it running at optimum speed. If running slow can cool the condenser, and only when driving fast the incoming air cool the condenser
3) Check whether refrigerant enough or not? If low on refrigerant gas it takes faster compressor speed to get the system cool

Diagnostic is correct, but for excessive air con gas, drive fast not cold one, because pressure becomes too high.
Also dangerous can burst the hoses.... sad.gif

Bro. kenny,
Wah! If OE compressor is RM4xx only is cheap. My ride, even recon already cost more than that and my rare Sonata III is even worse. Original asked before is RM1300..... rclxub.gif

Well, it depends whether the car running on single or double fans?

For the sighting of the refrigerant, mine is when enough you can see clear liquid, if low then see bubbles. If cannot see anything no more refrigerant....
