the app work as a security system, when someone key in the wrong password, iPhone will snap a picture of the person using the facetime camera and automatically send it over to my email together with their location.

I got their pics and location but cant do anything, cant find them blindly.

Reported to police with all the evidence but too bad they didn't really bother much about it.

So there goes my iPhone. making this topic is just to warn the public to be aware of those buggers.

Just to explain the situation a little bit.
On that day, 8.00pm ,that was the last whatsapp messange i receive from my girlfriend.
8.15pm got called from her claiming that she lost her iphone.
then i login to her email and here's the log:

8.10pm: the skinnier malay guy tried to unlock afew times at the mall.

8.25pm: the aqua look-a-like tried twice in the car. Location is still at Time square. I believe they just left the mall.

8.40: the last picture was taken (the fatter malay guy) .Location is at Bukit Nanas. Judge from the picture i believe they have returned to their "nest".

Total 10 tries to unlock untill my girlfriend's iphone went into auto wipe mode.
Too bad the police still didnt do anything untill now.
I have given up and gave my iphone to my gf. Got a new Samsung Galaxy note for myself. =.=

iGOtya app is for jailbroken iphone only ?

how do the app work?

igotya application is for JB only. everytime someone entered a wrong password to unlock the phone, the phone will capture the face by using the front camera. (i think the pics will be emailed to you or something, provided you have internet on your phone)

however u can use findmyiphone app for non jb phone, this one can tell the location of your iphone on the map, but must reg icloud.com first. it's just simple.

Igotya only for jailbroken iphone...non jailbroken iphone user can only use Find my iphone and prey (from app store)

first you set passlock code....for example 2345...then in igotya, set to allow phone unlock when entering spesific code...for example 1234

by doing that, the app will be able to capture thief face using front camera and log all activities then send to owners email

and if you manage to get nothing, just remote wipe the iphone

i have shared it on my facebook..some of my friends think it's a prank since i don't have any proof..can u upload the police report so that it look more convincing for us all to help u..thanks
