ive done some research on that and found this 10" double coil n magnet but the size it quite small..

my question is
1) will it have the THUMP~ like the normal 12" sub?
2) how much will it cost?
3) any good place where have a knowledgeable installer in and around kota kinabalu area?

yes i know its from Pioneer USA... but there is a lot of pioneer authorized dealers that could get their hands on these...

and they really could fit into the back of your rear seats nicely... installed a handful of these in hilux when i was a "car-audio-engineer" years ago...

no regret = =" the hilux was given to me by my dad.. either that or kancil = =" no waaay im driving that tiny thing..

but the sound quality still the same as the normal 12" sub right?

the sound quality yes the same as a normal 12"...

it gives softer rumbles though... if you are really comparing it... but in terms of SPL, the punch and rumbles... its all still there...

its easier to drive as well... because the cone is significantly smaller surface area and lighter... the excursions are very "dramatic"

just hope i can find one that's cheep.. thinking of adding 2 subs.. how about the amp?
need 2ch amp x2 or 4ch amp?

depends on the ohm value i think... find anything that is suitable for the power and the ohm values then you are good to go...

personally i would suggest a monoblock... i find them better...

in case u are interested with other brand, i do carry jl w5, helix esprit, domination ES slim, rockford P2 slim and others which are alternative good choices

to ts: i would recommend passive subs over active, hell i still prefer 12" subs and anything under that i just look away lol.

monoblock are expensive yooo >..<" 1 monoblock wont "break" the sub right? better i just ask for recommendation by the installer

but..... im waaay here in sabah.. plus im limited on budget now

1 on
2020 car accessories putatan, they offer me 1sub double coil+1monoblock+installation RM1200+
yu classic, they offer that pioneer(rm1.3k at first but they give me offer till 800 only )+box(dont come in box)+wireing+pioneer amp(forgot to see weather 2ch or 4ch) all that for rm1500

so which one is suitable? on the 2020 i forgot to see the brand of the sub and amp..
