Yes he is correct, it's in your manual too...I suspected you changed gears while car still moving..very bad of gearbox...

Just managed to recall your issue...

Dude, you DONT move D -> N while car is still moving....!!! You will kill the CVT gearbox faster....!!

CVT uses a variable "virtual" gear to maximise the engine speed to the gears.... this is not conventional autobox.... infact, its also bad for u to shift D -> N with autoboxes too.... doh.gif doh.gif We are not manual car la....

Also, why would you wanna shift to N during highway drive????

Agree +10000 Not only CVT, all auto GB.

Why would you be shifting D to N while still moving? Its not manual where you free gear when slowing down to traffic lights you know; won't save much petrol doing so yet killing ur gb which will cost thousands to repair later. You do not need to shift anymore once in D (unless is paddle shifts) when car still moving.

mitsu oil filter can tahan 10k km...fake inspira also 10k km, overseas 10k MILES

haha..not sure bout the proton oil filter though

bro are you trying to drive like manual to safe fuel~ let say run 140, then switch to Neutral.. let the car skiing.. then once no power d.. shift to D drive to accelerate a while? so far i can see the logical way you trying to do.. and driving auto, by doing this .. really.. rclxub.gif

bro, this is the fastest way to kill a CVT, and rm30k-40k(not sure but it is bloody expensive)

dont change to any gear la.our cvt not bodoh cvt, when u r cruising or not on the accelerator pedal, it chooses the highest gear ratio, only if going down hill, it'll choose a higher gear ratio.

Sorry ckk, nothing new. Except after some balancing, rotation and alignment done 2 days ago, that did reduce some noises.

The rear left noise still there, despite my rear left wheel has a camber angle of -1 deg. My rear right was -2 deg, now corrected to -1 deg. My front wheels alignment was way off.

Wafark u tokking?? Cant brain???

Even manual driving you are NOT encouraged to shift to N when down slope, as you can lose brake ability if the pads are too hot.... thats y the highways ALWAYS have signboards that asks you to use LOWER GEAR, and not totally free gear....!!!
