Hi, there.

I'm a new skinny boy, I have a BMI with 20.06.

Now finishing my SPM, I've planned to go to GYM to build my body so I'm kinda fresh to all these stuffs. I need some proper advice to guild me now.

My questions are:

1. How many times should we go to gym week? Twice a week? 4~5 days a week? Everyday?
2. How should I intake protein shake in the right timing? After gym? Before gym?
3. Is it every time I go to gym then I have to intake a protein shake?
4. Depending on my BMI, how long would it take me to build a strong and nice-looking body? 6 months? 9 months? or 2~3 years?
5. What are the pros and cons of having protein shakes?I heard a several of pros and cons from my friends, I'm here to ask for confirmation. . .
6. If I do my own workouts at home in the morning and I go for gym in the night, is it suitable?

I guess my questions are here only. I hope you guys can help me out there.

Thank you.

works like magic for me dawg, bf is lower compared to going everyday and doing cardio. im not going to compete and stuff, i just wanna be fit so this i find works for me. if you wanna pack on muscle mass, then most likely you have to visit the gym more often.

i go heavy for full body workout at the gym, spend around 1 hour in the gym and another 5 days light workouts at home

gym - squat, incline bench, pullup/pull down, clean and press, lateral raises and calf raises

home - push ups, burpees, incline push ups, laterals, jump squats, bear walk, planks, db bentover rows, half burpees, lunges. i rotate those exercises, i choose 3 or 4 exercises each time at random and work it on supersets and treat it as a cardio workout. this saves me time coz i hate cardio
