Traveled with my Prius C to Melaka last week, the average FC was 23km/l, speed 95 - 115km/hr on ECO mode. Tried this morning from home to office at 40-60km/hr, the FC was 35km/l. I think 38km/l is achievable.

QUOTE(lightning69 @ May 16 2012, 05:27 PM) You cannot compare 1 way trip. You must make a round trip several times to get the actual mileage for the trip. The reason is because you could be going downhill, or running on EV mostly one way and drain your hybrid battery to low level which might then affect the fuel consumption later. Fully agree.More critical factor is the temperature outside. Yesterday morning, the temperature was 26oC. However, in the evening, the car showed 34-37oC, hence the air-cond was working very hard and the mileage was only 27km/l. |
