Failed interior designer.... I have yet to find a comfortable seat in PriusC the fact is the front 2 seat is rather.... thin a little sagging...

but overall the car is fine it is nothing too exciting (on interior) and the ride is smooth and quiet... the power can feel from the main electric motor can feel the torque rush but I'm still waiting for the actual driver review on long term basis what happen when the battery is depleted and the car need to rely on the engine alone while waiting for the car to recharge its battery ala Going up Genting case.. will the 1.5l engine with much lower horse power (due to akinson implementation) affect the car climbing hills...

I still not liking the center dash console design be it in X-Trail or any other car... that include toyota new approach... it is like screaming to every one in your car look I'm speeding come scold me...

Conti interior quite boring actually

BMW interior is boring laaa even for a e92 it is nothing to shout... it stick to the same layout for 15 years since e46....
The only interior thats sparks life is the C200 (the current Gen)

CT200h uses leather warp... nice for that budget vs BMW which uses synthetic PU... soft yes quality yes but boring

I agree it is less fatigue and less strain on your eve expecially at night at highway where you need to check the speed... but looking in the middle have more neck movement and passenger (Expecially wife/mother/mother-INLAW) commenting on your speed is not really that safe...

I did not say it is not practical but I'm not liking it thats all....

I still prefer the cockpit design for a dashboard where instrument is within reach without over stretching your arm/hand/finger... I will support HUD... which the new Prius have...

They just add the Screen and tweak a little overall the core layout is the same

Basically all Toyota NVH is better than Honda (Except Avanza / Innova) their vios/altis/camry has better NVH no doubt so not surprise Prius and C has better NVH...

Honda R and K series Engine has a very rough V-Tec roar which some might like it some may not

Overall I think all Hybrid has a very quiet characteristic be it HSD or IMA so far I found all Hybrid very quiet on engine part...

Dont know bout you... my ride is pretty quiet until I get irritated by the item in my glove compartment moving around...

if you rev insight engine till 4-5k rpm yes cause of the VTEC implementation and the swirl in the cylinder head... can notice...

but generally if you maintain low rev cruising say between 2-3.5k rpm you will enjoy quiet ride... overall I found the tyre noise is very high Honda uses low resistance tyre which is very hard in nature and the noise surpass the engine noise...

no1. I did say Generally Hybrid car is much more quiet compare to non hybrid be it HSD or IMA

Yes Honda Engine is more spirited well it is their DNA anyway some like it some dont... but generally if you rev all HONDA engine you will notice a certain ROAR from the engine it is design that way... some like it some dont... OLD folks dont generally thats why you see old people like Toyota more...

AGREE.... thats why PriusC and Fiesta Hatch out of my consideration (JAZZ / CRz Hybrid too) .... but not willing to pay additional 40K for a Prius... what to do...

Well generally one must admit and move on hahaha.... tell me you now prefer much more confortable / smooth and quiet ride compare to the good old days where we buy car for handling / performance / sweet sound of the engine hahaha

Added on March 20, 2012, 10:41 amI think priusC has the boot space similar to Myvi maybe a little more same as Fiesta and Jazz this category car is suitable for secondary town drive car and not suitable for family outstation trip (maybe if you are single and not quite available you can use this type of car to travel outstation for luggage of 2 people) in this category those who hate hybrid can go for Polo / Fiesta Hatch / Jazz or Yaris... and for those who want HYBRID (ala tree hugger) have option for Honda Jazz Hybrid / Toyota PriusC and those who prefer a more sporty feel can have CRz and CT200h

while Prius and Insight offer full boot space good for those who want to buy car as a Main family vehicle (ala primary vehicle) can have option for Toyota Prius and Honda Insight

The world is in short supply of PriusC reason Toyota japan did not enticipate the global demand of it... now they are increasing the production... in Malaysia I doubt UMW have issue in AP since they are AP holder also...

JAZZ no issue cause their production is already running and Jazz Hybrid is not selling in Europe market (thats what I heard) cause Europe market reserve for Jazz EV (Due to CO2 emission tax something)
