You do know that private hospitals will bounce you back to gov hospitals in case of any complications?

It's supposed to be the other way round. Private for non risky pregnancy and gov for risky pregnancies.

I dont really know. I actually got advised to have a red card ready, incase any complication that Private cant handle and need to transfer to Gov hospital..hence searching..

Yes. Selayang is crowded. I went there on edd+6days but left 3 beds only & they are reserve for emergency case eg. Water breaking, bleeding symptom labour. So doctor refuse to admit me for induction & only allow for admission on edd+9days.

Yes. Remember to inform your nearest KKIA about the birth, they'll come and do visits to your house.

Jabs there are free too.

I don't think they will ask for marriage cert and utilities bill.

I just brought my baby birth cert and the baby book (blue/pink) can already.

Just bring them, in case they ask. No harm.
Moreover it's inconvenient to drive back to and fro just to get the papers.

Only need marriage cert, but if you didn't bring you can give to them at subsequent visit. I didn't need utilities bill, but they will ask you where you stay when you register. So far they believe what I say although it is a different address on my IC.

I did not register myself with a Klinik Kesihatan and I'm due end of this week. Can I still bring the LO after birth for vaccination and such at Klinik Kesihatan? If yes, what are the procedures?
