cOOl bond set!! BF price is really worth if u like all or almost all of bond flicks there... thumbup.gif too bad not all bond titles in this set being released separately though.. i could've grab this set but only like one-third of it! tongue.gif

If you like just 7 or 8 of the Bond series, it is already better value to get the box set when it is at a discount as in the recent BF. The price of buying the movies individually plus shipping cost per disc will likely add up to more than the price of the box set (plus there's an extra bonus disc).

The only draw back (if it can be considered one) is that you'd not have a keep case (and the artwork) for each of the discs/movie. The box set houses all the discs in 2 widescreen "books" with slits within the pages to slide the discs in and out.

I bought no less than 7 titles (total 9 movies; as one title is a boxset) for RM290+.... that's less than RM300 inclusive shipping fee.... now howzat sound? i saved a lot there comparing buying all those same titles here at local shops!  nod.gif

Indeed .. for RM290, you'd only be able to get 2 BDs (3 at most) from local retailer in Malaysia. Btw, is the boxset a triple feature?

@ozak Triple feature sets are a real bargain since they can be priced at about the same as for one BD. Plus, you save on the per item shipping cost and get 3 movies at the same time, as the triple feature set count as 1 item.

Several of these presently at $9.99 for instance:

The Departed/Goodfellas/The Aviator
Twister/Poseidon/The Perfect Storm
300/Alexander Revisited/Troy
Austin Powers:International Man of Mystery/The Spy Who Shagged Me/Goldmember
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time

What you mean the " Triple feature " ? A bundle of 3title BD in 1 package?
*
Yes, 3 BD titles in 1. I listed a few examples presently at a good price at Amazon.com

There are also double feature sets i.e. 2 BD titles in 1. Do a search by typing in Triple Feature or Double Feature on the Amazon search box under Movies & TV.

Thanks.

The price is unbelievable low. The movie title is abit old. But put my memory back.

How about the quality? Sometime I doubt about the different price. Does the low/high price associated with the quality?
*
Most welcome.

In most cases, it is the same disc as when bought individually. To be sure, best to do some research, especially on Blu-ray.com or the reviews on Amazon.

An example where the double feature is different from the individual release is The Fantastic Four. The double feature set omitted the extras/special features.

Otherwise, double feature, triple feature and box sets are usually the same as individual releases except you'd lose the individual packaging/casing/artwork for each title but you'd save on the per item shipping cost. For example the Bond 50 box set was selling for $99 during Black Friday. It has 22 Bond titles ... per item shipping cost would really add up if bought one by one. But with the box set, pay shipping as 1 item.

Yes, they're older titles included in the double feature and triple feature sets but if you haven't yet got them, then it's a bargain.

Price and quality may not always match each other. Good quality titles can at many times be had for very good price. I guess you'd have to wait to get a good price sometimes. biggrin.gif On Blu-ray.com you're able to see the price history of each title.
